⚖️ Lasting Power of Attorney Fees Are Increasing – What You Need to Know
From 17 November 2025, the application fee for a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) will rise from £82 to £92. This change affects anyone looking to put LPAs in place – an important legal safeguard that ensures your financial, property, health, and welfare decisions can be managed by someone you trust if you’re unable to do so yourself.
The increase in costs can add up quickly, particularly if you are arranging both Property & Financial Affairs LPAs and Health & Welfare LPAs (which many people choose to do).
👉 Why act now?
If you’ve been considering setting up an LPA, submitting your application before 17 November 2025 could save you money. More importantly, it provides peace of mind that your affairs will be properly managed should the need arise.
If you don’t have time before 17 November 2025, we’re offering a £10 (per application) reduction in our legal fees to lessen the burden of the increase on you, your family, friends, or colleagues. This is valid from 17 November 2025 to 31st December 2025 – just let us know that you’ve seen this post when you get in touch.
At Andrew Jacobs Legal Services, we guide clients through the LPA process with clarity and care, ensuring everything is handled correctly and efficiently.
